While we were outside today, Vivian was crawling after the cat. She was pointing to it, going "Ttuh-ttuh-ttuh-ttuh". I think she is trying to say cat.

First word?

This afternoon I asked Sophie what she wanted to watch. We went down the list: Higglytown, Jojo's Circus, Stanley.. but when I got to Go Baby, Vivian PIPED up and screamed BAY-BEE!!!
I think this is her official first word.

She has been screaming with excitement lately, making loud exclamations and babbling non stop. Even my friend Jenn who watched her for me remarked about her "talking", warning me I may have another talker on my hands.

She is LOVING books, and Daddy has added a bedtime story to her bedtime routine in the nursery while I am reading a story to Sophie in her room.

Look Ma - No Hands!

This evening, Sophie, Vivian and I were on the floor near the dining table (wood floor) and were picking up crayons. I looked over at Vivian, and she was standing up, in a straddle stance, without holding on to ANYTHING!!! I told Daddy - Look! Look! He was in the kitchen. Then she caught herself and sat down and we all clapped.

She is a super fast crawler now and of course, into everything. She adores Sophie and will follow her anywhere. She always wants to play with whatever Sophie has.
