Rash
I think Vivian has an allergy to processed meats. I fed her and Sophie some Jennie-O turkey bacon today *NOTE this is not the nitrate-free kind from Trader Joe's.. . .
Anyhow, shortly after she woofed it down, it came back up, right when I was trying to take a picture of the two of them in their matching "My Dad Rocks" t-shirts. . .
It was lovely cleaning it up.
Then she started breaking out in red rashy bumps all over her chest and tummy. At first, the bumps looked like little raised pimples, like the kind she and Sophie get if I put unwashed new clothes on them. We gave her some Benedryl, but it did not help. Then she was acting fussy, fussy, fussy - crying if I left her sight or put her down. By the time she got her bath, the rash was even worse. If she still has it in the morning, I'll call the doctor.
The last time she's thrown up it has been over meat - not freshly cooked, unprocessed meat, but chicken sausage, deli ham or bacon.
