Period
The night before last, we took a field trip and spent the night at a friend's house outside of Sacramento. Vivian had a crib to sleep in, but didn't go to bed til 11pm!
Last night, she cried and cried and cried. She would not sleep for anything. I let her cry and cry and finally I decided to give in and let her nurse. Well, maybe my milk is gone, but she simply pulled off and cried some more. I thought she was thirsty/hungry so I tried to feed her oatmeal, but she wouldn't have any. I gave her a sippy cup of water and that seemed to quell her a bit. I was still worried that something was really wrong. No tears were forming so I thought of dehydration.
After the water, I put her back down and she continued to cry, but not as blood curdling as before. I finally prayed to God to help me figure out what she needed and how I could help her, and she quieted right down and went to sleep!
This morning, I started my period. Could she sense it? Does the milk taste different? Or has it dried up? She definitely knows something was up.
